Ian joined Wilkinson Hatton in 1989 and helped his father develop the firm into the successful business it was prior to the merger.
 
Ian heads the pensions department, which offers advice across the range of individual and company pension schemes with particular expertise within the corporate sector.
 
Ian has acted as independent trustee for corporate pension schemes on a number of occasions. In addition, he has valuable experience in overseeing the wind up of defined benefit/final salary arrangements, and has developed a particular expertise in assisting SME’s who find themselves harbouring significant problems with final salary pension schemes.
Ian holds the G60 Advanced Pensions qualification.
